IQDEMY OPENS AN INNOVATIVE INK FACTORY AND R&D LABORATORY IN AIGLE
IQDEMY Group, together with a Swiss based partner and assistance from Innovaud, the innovation and investment promotion agency for the canton of Vaud, as well as local authorities, started the procedure for obtaining the necessary permits to build a chemical plant and install a production and laboratory equipment in Aigle (Vaud, Switzerland).
IQDEMY SWISS INX SA, the new company of IQDEMY Group, plans to release the first batch of innovative inks at the end of 2024.

IQDEMY Group has been developing and manufacturing electronics, software, digital printers and inks since 1998. Customers from more than 70 countries use the company's products. Today IQDEMY sets up the base for their new factory and R&D premises in the canton of Vaud with the support of Innovaud. The plant will be located near the city of Aigle, in a 1000 m 2 area with a planned expansion to 2000 m 2 within the next few years. The company plans to create some 40 new jobs by the 5 th year of operation in Vaud.

Inks to secure goods and combat counterfeiting
IQDEMY’s new plant will start producing up to 120,000 liters of innovative digital ink for various applications such as security printing, the luxury goods industry, printing of watch dials and straps, or printing on aluminum and steel. All the technologies and formulations are developed and patented by IQDEMY Group. The new factory is set to achieve 300,000 liters of ink annually (single shift, i.e., 1,000,000 liters per year in three shifts).
Thanks to a self-developed production methods and unique formulas, IQDEMY inks are safe for humans and the environment. Production has a closed cycle of water use without any hard, liquid or gas emissions in the environment. The use of the latest air filters ensures the highest purity of emitted air, which is cleaner than the outside air.
